The Adams PTCO Tiger Trot Jog-A-Thon 2024

What is the Tiger Trot?

This is one of our schools largest fundraisers where families, friends, neighbors and co-workers pledge money to support the students as the jog or walk in the Jog-A-Thon. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised go directly to programs for Adams students. The Tiger Trot takes place during your child's regular school day. Adams students run (or jog, walk, skip, etc...) laps around the school field during a 20 minute time period. All students will participate as part of their regular physical fitness program, unless there is a medical reason why the student should not participate.

How do we raise money?

A message via Dojo will help you register in our online PledgeStar system.  Once you have that, each student obtains pledges and donations in support of his/her Jog-A-Thon efforts. Sponsors may sign up to pledge a flat dollar amount and/or a per lap donation. Our goal is to raise at least $15,000. All of the money raised will go directly to PTCO sponsored enrichment programs that supplement our students' school experiences.

Can I get involved?

ABSOLUTELY! There are many opportunities to help make this event successful! Before, during, and after! To get involved, email us at volunteers.adamsptco@gmail.com or fill out out interest form.

What do I do next?

Get sponsors! Please collect pledges and donations through PledgeStar.. Ask family, relative, friends, co-workers, employers, etc.. for support. No time to ask for pledges? You can donate instead!

Adams students will have the opportunity to earn prizes as a way for the PTCO to say "thank you" for their hard work in doing their best to help their school and for collecting their pledges on time.

All participants will receive a participation Tiger Wrist Sweatband.

Raffle

Raise money to earn tickets for a raffle where winners will get to Silly-String Ms. Pina. 

• $25 = 1 Ticket

• $50 = 2 Tickets

• $75 = 3 Tickets

• $100 = 4 Tickets

*Students are limited to 4 tickets even if they raise more than $100
