Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Volunteer Organizer - Help recruit and coordinate volunteers for school needs and events
Event Planning - Assist in organizing and running PTCO events
Social Media Support - Create posts and help promote PTCO activities online
Join Hospitality Committee - Work with an amazing team of volunteers to provide tasty treats and coffee to each Family Wednesday, stock the teacher's lounge with goodies each month, host Teacher Appreciation activities in May and organize Classroom Parent Volunteers
Classroom Parent Volunteer - Serve as the point of contact between your child’s teacher, the classroom families and the PTCO
Join Outreach Committee - Engage new and current families at Adams Elementary to ensure all families have the opportunity to get involved and stay connected to their school and PTCO resources. Help with the Kensington Memorial Day Parade in May. Help at the Outreach Table located at both gates during drop-off once a month.
Lunch and Recess Volunteer - Sign-up for a shift helping our staff supervise our students during lunch and recess. This allows are staff a much needed break during the day and our students more opportunities to play together and utilize all play spaces.
Adams Ave Street Fair Volunteer - Help sell carnival tickets (one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!) volunteer for a shift selling parking spaces during the fair and/or help run the Adams PTCO booth at the Fair (New this year!)
Lost and Found Organizer - Keep our campus Lost and Found tidy and up to date
Parent Room Volunteer - Assist teachers with classroom prep and tasks on campus in the Parent Room
Library Assistant - Support the school librarian with shelving and student needs
Book Fair Volunteer - Extra hands are always helpful during this busy and exciting week in the Fall!
School Closet Shopper - Help shop for and organize essentials for students in need
Run Club Organizer - Support or lead our after-school Run Club
Robotics Club Organizer - Support our first after-school club returning for a second year.
New After-School Club Volunteer - Help PTCO start new after-school club opportunities for our students. This year we're focused on a Garden Club and a Soccer Club with Adams Park and Rec.
